Welcome to Dreamery Gardens forest school, where children are encouraged to roam free, explore and grow in nature.
Nestled in a 100 acre woodland just outside of York, our forest school offers different session types which support child-led exploration in the outdoors.
We provide a safe, inspiring environment for your little ones to develop confidence, independence and practical skills through nature based play. Browse our session types below and join us for some unforgettable moments in the forest.

Stay and Play
Most Popular! Enjoy a slow paced 2 hour session in the woods where your children are free to explore on their own terms. Let them get messy in the Mud kitchen, build dens and hunt for bugs.
This session is designed to allow children to play independently.
Adults + Under 3’s go FREE (with at least 1x child ticket purchased).
Adults must stay for the duration.
Birthday Parties
Celebrate a special birthday underneath the tree’s with a forest school birthday party!
2 hours of exclusive site hire including – use of all site equipment, one craft activity to do, marshmallow toasting, soft drinks and free parking.
Parties are available to book on Saturdays.

Play and Craft
Come and join us for a 2 hour session which allows for free play and crafting.
Crafting will be available for children to come and go as they please. We will be making all kinds of crafts throughout the seasons for children to take home! They can learn new skills and get creative.
Adults must stay for the duration.
