Welcome to the Dreamery Gardens, home to England’s Fairy Sanctuary

Neglected, overgrown and believed lost for over a hundred years, we are on the journey of restoring the lost gardens to their original glory.
Just outside the ancient and noble city of York, this woodland is where nature, stories and dreams are entangled. No matter the time of year, you are invited to drink, dine and be merry at The Dreamery Kitchen, visit the museum to see our ever-growing collection of arcane artefacts, and wander the winding path beneath the trees.
For dreamers, poets and the curious: the woods are calling you.

Englands Lost Fairy Garden is a unique and unusual garden in the making, full of archaeological mythology.
The Dreamery gives you an enchanting experience with the country’s’ only Fairy Museum of restored and recovered artefacts.

Your invitation from Professor Howland

Let me tell you about Faeries. Let me take you away on a journey, an adventure.
The Dreamery Gardens are a place where the veil between this world and the other is thinnest. It is the place where faeries dwell, creatures creep, and magic oozes through the cracks.
Recently, the Dreamery has been stirring, opening up to all who wish to see, and to all who dare to venture…
